Position: HR Generalist

Summary of the Role

The HR Generalist will be responsible for Human Resources related duties which both support and partner with all employees. This position will have responsibilities in all of the following functional areas: recruiting, employee engagement, onboarding, employee relations, training, and communication.

 Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions for all locations. Collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Introduce new hires to the company and walk them through the hiring and training process
  • Serve as an employee advocate for new hires as well as established employees
  • Implements new hire onboarding and employee recognition programs.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to hiring, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Facilitate communications throughout the organization
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data
  • Investigate complaints brought forward by employees.
  • Support annual/ongoing projects such as performance review and salary planning processes, and talent management initiatives
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Previous experience in recruitment and employee engagement
  • 3-5 Years of Human Resources experience
